My Spark Bird story:
My Spark Bird moment happened in Michigan. One day I was running in the middle of a park. I remember a blue spot following me along the trail. I was kind of sad at that moment. And then I realized it was a bluebird. It made me really happy and sparked my interest in birds. So that was the moment when I realized "birds are very cool". I really love to keep following birds and learn more about them in general. I realized that I wanted to do something related to birding...
I'm from Colombia. So I was interested in seeing if people actually traveled for birding. I joined the local Bird Club. Actually and I was surprised to see how many people are actually into birding and traveling. And they were really, really happy to see a Colombian actually join in their birding community and that just gave me a lot of interest and momentum to just keep increasing my interest in the local births in the US but also in birding in Colombia.
